Show choir for grades 7 to 12

Students will be working on the Lion King Jr. Production (which will take place in late March and early April).

This isn’t your typical community theater program.  ALL children who register are able to participate.

The Junior Show Choir is open to students in grade 7 to 12 and will provide a forum for youth who enjoy singing and are prepared for the challenge of developing their ability while having fun with choreographed movement. This program will:

• Tutor on pitch development, tone and sense of rhythm

• Develop choral discipline, in stature, attitude, behaviour and
  vocals

• Encourage children to read music while working towards
  memorable performances

• Be a process that is both educational and enjoyable

• Foster teamwork, choral blend and musicianship

• Help students understand emotional content of songs

• Provide exposure to the Musical Theatre genre of music

At the end of this term children will present The Lion King Jr, an experience that are sure to love.
