Violin Level 2 (High School & Adult)
Term 2 2020
Students will follow the Suzuki method as well as pieces taken from various genres and styles of music. Participants must have at least beginner knowledge of note reading to take this course. The first course will include the following content:
-continuation of basic violin technique
-using first position on all strings
-bowing and fingering exercises
-note reading and theory
Please note: previous violin experience is a definite asset, although if you are proficient in another instrument and can read music this may not be mandatory.
