Musical Theatre for grades 3 to 6

This isn’t your typical community theater program.  ALL students who register are able to participate.

This program is open to students in grade 3 to 6 and will provide a forum for youth who enjoy singing and are prepared for the challenge of developing their ability while having fun with choreographed movement. This program will:

• Tutor on pitch development, tone and sense of rhythm

• Develop choral discipline, in stature, attitude, behaviour and
  vocals

• Encourage children to read music while working towards
  memorable performances

• Be a process that is both educational and enjoyable

• Foster teamwork, choral blend and musicianship

• Help students understand emotional content of songs

• Provide exposure to the Musical Theatre genre of music
