Senior Musical Theatre (Grade 7-12) * STUDENTS WILL BE WORKING ON THE LION KING PRODUCTION THIS TERM!!*

Musical Theatre for grades 7 to 12

Students will be working on the production “ The Lion King” this term

This isn’t your typical community theater program.  ALL students who register are able to participate.

This program is open to students in grade 7 to 12 and will provide a forum for youth who enjoy singing and are prepared for the challenge of developing their ability while having fun with choreographed movement. This program will:

  • Tutor on pitch development, tone and sense of rhythm

  • Develop choral discipline, in stature, attitude, behaviour and
    vocals

  • Encourage children to read music while working towards
    memorable performances

  • Be a process that is both educational and enjoyable

  • Foster teamwork, choral blend and musicianship

  • Help students understand emotional content of songs

  • Provide exposure to the Musical Theatre genre of music
