The Musical Theatre Program will be available to those in Grades 4-12. FEE OF $150 will apply to EACH term*

The 2021-2022 year will be surrounding the beloved and world-wide known musical “Grease”. This will be the High School edited version which has been adjusted and is appropriate for pre-teens and teens alike. There will be auditions held for those looking for a lead role while ensemble roles will not require an audition.

Musical Theatre is a world of singing, dancing and embodiment of your character. We will be developing our vocal abilities and having fun with some basic, yet classic, Grease style dance moves. There will also be a lot of background acting which is pivotal in setting the mood and building the story.

We will be performing in April so rehearsals will run through Fall & Winter Terms but we will break for Christmas.

If you are looking to audition for a lead role, you must prepared to sing a song from the 50’s or 60’s era. We recommend choosing 2 roles that you would like to audition for, your #1 choice and your #2. Please keep in mind that even if you audition, you may not get a lead role or the role you were hoping for. However, all roles are crucial in any production. Everyone who registers will have a role on stage. Auditions will be held on Saturday, October 2nd from 1-4pm. We will be in touch for those who are auditioning.
