DJ Sound Mixing Level 1

DJ Sound Mixing Level 1 is an introductory course in the multiple skills required to perform, blend, and mix music. This course will cover everything from music structure, DJ styles, digital audio DJ controllers , the basics of music blending, DJ lighting , how to speak using a microphone and more! DJing can be extremely creative and so much fun to perform for people. It is a great way to be introduced not only to a wide range of music, but digital audio technology as well!

DJ Sound Mixing Level 2

This DJ course is offered to those students whom have completed DJ Sound Mixing Level 1 Beginner

DJ Sound Mixing Level 2 will build upon the fundamentals of the first course and go further into prepping for sets, playing for audiences and recording your mixes. This time will be spend in prep to enable a aspiring DJ to play indefinitely for a variety of crowds.

Recommended age group - Grade 6-12

DJ Controller are available to rent. Participants will require a laptop.

** Please note: If your DJ student already has experience or has been a part of Matt Talbots Term 1 or Term 2 students a customized lesson plan will be developed specifically for your student.
